Brief Historical Background
The Dr. James Sanpha Koroma School of Business and Entrepreneurial Studies (JSKBES) is one of the leading schools at the United Methodist University – Sierra Leone (UMU-SL). Established in 2020, it was named in honor of Dr. James Sanpha Koroma, a distinguished entrepreneur and former Chancellor of the University of Sierra Leone, in recognition of his contributions to private sector development and entrepreneurship in Sierra Leone.
The school is dedicated to preparing students with business, financial, and entrepreneurial skills to meet the demands of both local and global markets. It focuses on practical learning, ethical leadership, and innovative thinking, ensuring graduates are equipped to start their own businesses or excel in corporate environments.

The school offers a mix of accredited programmes and newly degree programmes for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years.
